Natural Rest is Therapeutic Aromatherapy Massage.  This is a natural, holistic treatment to relieve stress and stress related sleep issues.  Specially formulated infused and essential oil blends containing Melissa, Rose, Chamomile and Valerian are combined with Breathing, Energy Work and therapeutic hands on techniques to ease physical discomfort and encourage deep relaxation for a calmer mind and better sleep.  An elegant take home resource containing the oil blend allows recall of the relaxed massage state through inhalation.

Your treatment may qualify for insurance reimbursement with a doctor’s prescription.

Restful Sleep Suggestions

The following suggestions may help you to enjoy a better night’s sleep

 

Respect your Circadian Rhythm: 

  • Sleep patterns are determined by patterns of

light and dark - Mimic dusk - slow down  

dim the lights 1 – 2 hours before bedtime

  • Avoid stimulants and depressants that can interfere with normal sleep patterns
  • Engage in regular exercise
  • Make a transition from waking activity to restful   quiet
  • Waking at some point during the night may be normal

    Create a COSE Bedroom - Comprehensive Optimal Sleep Environment

    • Quiet location  - Separate from work area
    • No LAN from clocks, computers or night lights
    • Light blocking blinds in windows
    • Cool temperature - 68°F optimal
    • Green mattress and bedding
    • Minimize “Bed Noise” – get up if you wake up

     

    Pre - Sleep Ritual

    • Dim house, computer TV light levels
    • Lower sound volumes
    • Engage in a quiet activity
    • Take a warm salt bath
    • Diffuse relaxing oils into bedroom air
    • Meditate
    • Apply Oil Blend to pulse points, Throat and Heart Chakras – inhale
